About Empower Youth Refuge
Empower Youth Refuge was founded by Youyou Joseph Tayak to provide a safe haven and support system for vulnerable youth. The organization focuses on offering shelter, counseling, vocational training, agriculture, cash ,health care, protection and educational resources to young people facing homelessness or other crises. Youyou , driven by personal experiences and a passion for social justice, established the refuge to address the gaps in youth support services and empower individuals to rebuild their lives. The initiative has grown into a community-driven platform, emphasizing mentorship and holistic care to foster resilience and independence among its beneficiaries.
